Transformation Takes Time (2024) explores the gradual and deliberate process of change through a blend of photography and cyanotype media. This collection draws from images in Vulnerability Part 4: Transformations (2023), which examined vulnerability and strength within the human body and transformative experiences. Initially intended for experimentation in a university project, these images revealed themes of transformation literally taking time, as the slow, methodical process of creating cyanotypes unfolded.
This artistic journey emphasises the importance of enjoying the creative process, suggesting that the act of slowing down can be just as significant—if not more so—than the final outcome.
