Trashbinn Art (Tas Mary) (she/they) is a proud Queer, Gamilaraay multidisciplinary artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane). Working in photography, painting, and design, Trashbinn’s artistic practice centres around exploring their identity through the intersections of queerness, Aboriginality, motherhood, body image, and social justice. By drawing from personal experiences, Trashbinn fosters discussions and reflection through their artwork. Central to Trashbinn’s process is collaboration with individuals from diverse backgrounds, aiming to collect a wide array of stories and experiences. This approach seeks to cultivate a sense of connection and belonging within their community.
